I'll be talking about my favorite musicians here, this section might have some divisions based on the music genre or even dance techniques and vocals. I wanted this to be only about the songs and vocal artists as well as songwriters, but I did ballet for 8 years and I can't really separate music and dance, specially when most of the artists now do choreos for their song too, it is undeniably part of the perfomances now, except of course for bands. I'm more inclined to care for the vocal quality than the song itself, so please take note on that and consider that I also care very much for the artists' live perfomance! (´• ω •<`) ♡
I grew up with k-pop, I know most of the songs are very much just noise, but I also care very much for some of them that made my childhood, I hope you can understand my passion when talking about some of the artists I, almost quite literally, grew up with! I listen to a lot of 70s stuff, but I appreciate punk, post-punk and goth. Rock before the 2000s, with some exceptions, are my favorite! Since I'm brazilian, there'll be latin songs here, and please don't expect me to put bad bunny and anitta because that's definetely not the kind of latin songs I listen, if you are familiar with latin music genres, think of what I listen as mostly MPB, latin rock, samba, experimental funk paulista, tropicália and brazilian metal. I hope you can enjoy what I listen as much as I do! (・_・ヾ
60s/70s (=^-ω-^=)
I love the usual classics like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie. All those are amazing performers, but I also do love the crazy and "sloppy" underground punk scene at the time, so Pure Mania by The Vibrators might be just one of my favorites. I also can't help, but point out the glam scene at the time and the involuntary fashion revolution that came with the punk movement, 70s was definetely a great decade to be a fashion girlie! Despite what I said, I still prefer Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin as individual listening, but daily I listen much more to New York Dolls, The Vibrators, The Velvet Underground and 70s punk and proto-punk in general.(^・ω・^✿)
